The objectives for which the Association is established are -
To be an active member of the United Planters’ Association of Southern India and the Karnataka Planters’ Association.
Promote, safeguard and protect legitimate planting interests of the members of the Association and the Plantation Industry in Kodagu.
To consider all questions, problems, statistics and such other matters connected with or related to the Plantation Industry directly or indirectly.
To propose and/ or protest and represent against Legislative changes and such other policy decisions affecting the Plantation Industry.
To collect, classify, analyze , circulate and publish statistics and other information related to and necessary for the Plantation Industry.
To communicate, correspond or otherwise keep in touch with other Planter’s Associations, Employer’s Associations, Trade Unions and other mercantile, Public and Service Organizations and the Government; and in concert promote measures connected with these objects; or any of them.
